What is The Drop?
A party game you play during a real round of golf. You still play your actual round — but every hole deals your group "Drops" (buffs, curses, and chaos), lets you sabotage each other, and ends with a shareable Run Card. Lowest score still wins. Everything else is fair game.
Do I need to be good at golf?
Nope. The chaos is the great equalizer — a well-aimed Drop does more damage than a good drive. If anything, The Drop is more fun when nobody's taking their score too seriously.
Does my whole group need the app?
Everyone joins the same round with a share code, so it's best when each player's on their own phone. It's free and you can jump in as a guest — no signup required — so getting your crew in takes about ten seconds.
Is this a betting or gambling app?
No. The Drop is about bragging rights, not real money. No wagers, no payouts — just the group chat holding your sabotage over your head until next weekend.
Can I play on my course?
Yes — play your course, 9 or 18, at your own pace. The Drop rides along on top of the round you're already playing.
What does it cost?
Free to play. A PRO upgrade will come later with extra decks and perks, but the core game — including team play — stays free.
